WTC 2023-25: Sri Lanka’s 18 Member Squad For Series Against England. Sri Lanka is getting ready to face England in three match test series beginning on 21st August by announcing its 18 member group. Each team is expected to determine how they will stand on WTC 2023-25 points table based on the series.
The Sri Lankan squad is made up of several old players with new stars coming into play. Leading the charge is Test skipper Dimuth Karunaratne whose leadership and batting ability will play a vital role. Joining him are Angelo Mathews who finally finds himself back after a brief absence from national duty and dynamic Dhananjaya de Silva.

Sri Lanka has opted for a mix of fast bowlers and spin options in their bowling department. 35-year-old veteran spinner Rangana Herath who has been performing exceptionally well recently, would be key here again. Lahiru Kumara headlining fast bowling unit along with Kasun Rajitha have shown some great performances in previous games too.
Young players like Praveen Jayawickrama and Asitha Fernando, among others, are eagerly sought after by the team to inject fresh blood into its squad. Their selection indicates blending both experience and youth to compete effectively with other teams in this tournament by Sri Lanka.
