Sport: Javelin Throw
Medal: Silver
Chopra delighted fans with his mighty throw. He won the silver medal with the second-best throw of his life. Chopra had won the gold medal at the Tokyo Games and gave his best to defend the title. But Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem took the world by storm with his record-shattering gigantic throw.
Aman Sehrawat
Age: 21
Sport: Wrestling
Medal: Bronze
Sehrawat made his name as the only Indian male wrestler to have qualified and the youngest freestyle male wrestler at Paris Olympics 2024. He defied his age and won India its bronze medal at the prestigious Games. Sehrawat defeated Darian Toi Cruz of Puerto Rico 13-5 for the bronze.
Men’s Hockey Team
Led by Harmanpreet Singh, India’s men’s hockey team broke its medal hiatus at the Olympics and won the bronze medal for the first time in five decades, since 1972.
It was the Indian men’s hockey team’s fourth bronze and 13th Olympic hockey medal. The hockey team delighted fans back at home by claiming victory over Australia for the first time in 52 years.
Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh

Medal: Bronze
They beat the South Korean team Oh Ye Jin and Lee Wonho 16-10 in the bronze category. This came a day after Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh finished a joint third. But the Indian duo came up stronger the next day and clinched their bronze.
Swapnil Kusale
Age: 28
Sport: 50m Rifle
Medal: bronze
Kusale helped India win its first-ever medal in 50m 3 Positions at the Olympics. He made his mark in Paris after finishing in fourth place at the Asian Games and World Championships. Kusale is set for more achievements at international events.
