The Polish tennis star defeated her opponent in straight sets.
After the match, an overhelmed Swiatek ran with tears rolling down to her father who embraced her triumph. She told the media that it has been amazing. The Polish professional tennis player shared her love for Roland Garros, saying she waits every year to come back.
Swiatek said she was almost out of the tournament in the second round and thanked her fans and the crowd for cheering her on. She asserted that she needed to believe it would be possible for her.

She highlighted that these are the great days of her life and on June 9, she has the doubles finals. Paolini shared that the past 15 days have been intense, but she is happy. “Today was tough but I’m proud of myself,” she added.
