WWE WrestleMania Intro
WrestleMania is undoubtedly the biggest event in the WWE universe. Every WWE superstar dreams to feature in the Main Event of WrestleMania at some point in his career and it is one the biggest things there are in the Global Sports Entertainment scenario.
WrestleMania is held every year in the months of March/April and it is one of the few events that was streamed live on the WWE Network across the globe from the very beginning. WWE has been conducting WrestleMania for the last 38 years and it has become a part of Wrestling heritage now.
WWE WrestleMania History
The World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) organized the first-ever WrestleMania on 31st in the year 1985. It was held at the historic Maddison Square Garden in New York City.
That year in the main event, Hulk Hogan and Mr. T took on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff in a Tag Team match. The event was a huge success financially and it established the WWF as the biggest promotion in the USA above NWA and AWA.
WrestleMania 2 saw Hulk Hogan taking on King Kong Bundy in the Main Event. It was an even bigger success and WWF never looked back from there. They have been organizing WrestleMania every year since then.

This year, it is going to be held on 2nd April 2022 at the AT&T Stadium.

WrestleMania Prize Money
The winners of the WrestleMania Main events do not necessarily get any separate Prize Money unless it is a contract-based match between the two players. WWE Superstars usually get only the amount that is mentioned in their contract and nothing more based on per-match criteria. Therefore, there is no question of Prize Money.
However, the winners do get the various WWE belts if it is a title/championship match.
