Asia Cup 2023: Points Table And Standings. The 16th edition of the Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka and Pakistan from August 31 to September 17. A total of 13 ODI matches will be played on the group stage and knockout format in the Asia Cup 2023. This is the first time that the tournament will be played in two countries on the hybrid model. 9 matches including the final will take place in Sri Lanka whereas Pakistan will host 4 matches.
This year Nepal beat UAE by 7 wickets in the Asian qualifier and qualifies for the very first time for the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka is the defending champion as they beat Pakistan in the final of Asia Cup 2022 and lifted the 6th Asia Cup trophy. India is the most successful team of the tournament having won 7 titles. Sri Lanka is the second most successful team with 6 titles.
