Jake Paul gave a befitting reply to Mike Tyson’s weigh-in slap by defeating the legendary boxer through a unanimous decision late Friday night. Paul won 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73. Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson was touted as an epic battle and Fight of the Century, streamed live on Netflix.

Paul has been in awe of the former heavyweight champion, saying Tyson’s exactly what he thought – one of the greatest to ever do it. He also bowed to Iron Mike at the end of the match and lauded him as the G.O.A.T.

Mike Tyson, the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, said he is not officially done with boxing. He even mentioned being game to take on Jake Paul’s brother Logan Paul.

Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul was an electrifying Netflix match. It got aggressive by the minute. The YouTube star dominated the bout – he connected and backed Tyson into the ropes several times. Moreover, he stood over Tyson, 58, given his towering build and height.

Fans believe Iron Mike is feeling his age thus the aggressiveness. But to date, he is regarded as the most intimidating boxer ever. Tyson started his professional boxing career at the age of 18 and reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990.

Tyson is also notorious – he was convicted of rape in 1992, served three years in jail and released in 1995, and made a comeback to boxing, only to bite off Evander Holyfield’s ear in 1997.
