Dwayne Bravo Leaves CSK, Joins KKR as Mentor for IPL 2025. Dwayne Bravo joined Kolkata Knight Riders as their mentor shortly after retiring from cricket. He takes over the role from Gautam Gambhir, who left to become the head coach of Team India.
The last match of his career occurred during the Caribbean Premier League this week. He was supposed to play the entire season, but a groin injury he suffered during the game against St. Lucia Kings caused him to end the campaign prematurely. Bravo injured himself while trying to catch Faf du Plessis during the game. He couldn’t bowl in that match and came in to bat at No. 11 for the Trinbago Knight Riders in their unsuccessful chase.
Bravo will be operating with KKR for the first time in any position but he represents the Knight Riders brand from the Caribbean Premier League for nine seasons. In addition to mentoring KKR, Bravo will also take on responsibilities with the other Knight Rider franchises.

On what his position with KKR would implicate Dwayne continued to say, “I have been with the Trinbago Knight Riders for the last 10 years in the CPL. Having played for and with Knight Riders in various leagues, I have to say that they impress me with their work either as opponents or teammates.”
