ODI World Cup 2023: Team New Zealand Schedule and Squad. India will host the eagerly awaited 13th ODI World Cup from October 5 to November 19th, 2023. Ten teams will participate for the coveted trophy in 12 different venues. A total of 48 games will be contested during the ICC CWC 2023, with 45 of those games taking place in the group stage using a round-robin format.
Despite having a decent squad, Team New Zealand has never won a single World Cup title. Regardless of this, the Black Caps have managed to play in the World Cup finals twice in a row (in 2015 and 2019). When it comes to hosting, New Zealand has jointly co-hosted the World Cup two times with Australia (in 1992 and 2015).
According to the reports by ESPNcricinfo, New Zealand’s captain for the men’s ODI World Cup in 2023 will either be Tim Southee or Tom Latham. At the same time, the injured Kane Williamson might come to take part in the upcoming World Cup and he might mentor his team.
CWC 2023 Schedule of New Zealand

Gary Stead, the head coach of New Zealand, stated in a report that 11 or 12 players on the roster had likely been decided upon, with negotiations ongoing for the rest seat.
