T20 World Cup 2024 Final: Rohit Sharma Leads Team India to T20 World Cup Victory After 17 Years. India edged past South Africa by 7 runs in the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 at Kensington Oval, Barbados. Virat Kohli was a great help in all this. Finally, India managed to end the game at a score of 176 with the loss of 7 players and after 20 overs against South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. In the second over, Keshav Maharaj claimed two wickets in an over, one of the hitters, Rohit Sharma, and another hitter, Rishab Pant, signalled that the game had not gone well.

Further problems emerged when Kagiso Rabada managed to bowl Suryakumar Yadav in the fifth over which upset the 2007 champions even more. The next resolution was that Kohli and Patel made a strong alliance starting with a 72-run partnership. Patel’s infidelity cost their innings as he was out for stands at 47. Nevertheless, the outstanding performances of the skipper, who reached 76 with 59 balls, ended due to Marco Jansen’s delivery.

Indian bowlers, led by Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh, maintained their composure in the closing stages. Their resilience allowed India to snatch victory from the brink of defeat, breaking an 11-year ICC trophy drought and securing their second-ever T20 World Cup title with a thrilling 7-run triumph over South Africa.
