Manchester United fans want the club’s management to take action against Erik ten Hag after the team’s recent loss, 2-1, to West Ham. This is ten Hag’s third year with Man Utd and it has lost nearly every game.

Fans say the Dutchman has failed to give Manchester United what it needs. However, ten Hag believes it’s not about him as luck is not on their side. The Man Utd manager pointed out that it was no different last season but they turned it around. He is adamant that this time too, the same thing will happen, the boys will nail it.

Ten Hag countered criticism saying that the best team doesn’t always get to win in football.

Football pundit Gary Neville says Erik ten Hag is very close to being axed. In a Sky Sports podcast, the co-owner of Salford City, said the match against Chelsea could decide the manager’s future at the Red Devils.

Neville asserted that ten Hag’s position could be untenable if Manchester United loses to Chelsea next Sunday. He claimed that the Dutchman was asking for trouble with the team positioned 14th in the league nine games in, and nine games is nearly 25 percent of the season done. Neville added that it’s a big worry for everybody at Manchester United given the team’s performance.

The football commentator also rebuked Man Utd’s players saying its unacceptable. He slammed the team for missed chances and inviting trouble.
