UEFA Champions League 2022-23 Draw: All Groups and Predictions. UEFA organized the group stage draw for the Champions League 2022-23 season on Thursday (25th Aug) in Istanbul, Turkey, and announced all 8 groups for the upcoming edition of the tournament after a series of tiresome processes.
Every year, the pool of 32 teams is divided into 8 different Groups (from A to H) based on certain criteria (for example, no two teams from the same league can be assigned to the same group). The group stage is the first step of the year-long tournament and adds to its unpredictability.

This year is the last time that this system will be followed by UEFA for the Champions League before they move on to a system comprising of one league with all the clubs in it, to increase the number of participating teams.
The Groups for the much anticipated 2022-23 season have been announced and with the details about the Draw being laid down, let us now move on to the different Groups and predict the outcomes for all of them.
Group A: Liverpool, Napoli, Ajax & Rangers
Prediction – This is one of the hardest groups this season and the competition for the top 2 spots will be immense. Liverpool is definitely expected to finish at the top of the table.

Napoli might pick up the second spot due to Ajax’s many departures in the transfer window and finally, the Rangers will probably end as the fourth-placed team.
Group B: Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Club Brugge & Porto
Prediction – We predict that this group’s league table will end up in the exact order given above. Porto will be table toppers, Atletico Madrid will be No.2, and so on.
Group C: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter & Viktoria Plzen
Prediction – Group C is undoubtedly the Group of Death this season. The likes of Bayern, Barcelona, and Inter being put in the same group means that one of them will have to play in the Europa League.
We predict that the order of teams at the end of the league stage will be – Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter, and Viktoria Plzen.

Group D: Tottenham Hotspur, Eintrakht Frankfurt, Sporting C.P & Marseille
Prediction – Tottenham Hotspur will definitely top this group as it is a considerably easy one and they will be followed by Frankfurt, Sporting CP, and Marseille.
Group E: Chelsea, AC Milan, Red Bull Salzburg & Dinamo Zagreb
Prediction – Chelsea is expected to top this group. AC Milan will probably finish second followed by RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb.
Group F: Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, RB Leipzig & Celtic
Prediction – The defending champions have got the easiest group of them all and they shall fly past into the knockouts without as much as a fold on their forehead. RB Leipzig will secure the second spot followed by Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic.
Group G: Manchester City, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund & FC Copenhagen
Prediction – Manchester City is expected to top this group easily. There will be a big competition for the second spot between Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla though.
