T20 World Cup 2022: Top 3 Debutants to Watch Out For. 2022 most awaited ICC tournament, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup has finally commenced. Although the official event started on 16th October, with the qualifying round, the business end that is Super 12 kickstarted today 22nd October 2022. The next 3 weeks promise to be an eventful period, with all the 12 teams fighting to lift the 8th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy.
Australia, the defending champions, in their backyard will be eying to retain the trophy once again, whereas the remaining 11 teams would be eager to spoil their party.
Debutants are always key players for any team. They bring with them, much-needed fresh energy and positive intent. This time around, a lot of teams have included a few players who will be playing in their first ICC World Cup event.

ARSHDEEP SINGH- INDIA
The 23-year-old young fast bowler from India has been associated with the team for the last 3 months. He made his debut in the T20 format against England in July 2022. Since then, Arshdeep has become a regular member of the playing X1. The left-handed pace bowler has shown good temperament with the ball. He has consistently bowled with good line and length, troubling the batters.
India won’t be without Jasprit Bumrah in the T20 world Cup. This is a huge blow to the team. In his absence, Arshdeep Singh will have his task cut out. NASEEM SHAH- PAKISTAN
Pakistan cricket team has always produced quality fast bowlers. They have continued the tradition the great Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram started. Naseem Shah, the right-arm pace bowler is another addition to the list.
He had an exceptional debut in the T20 cricket against India in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022. Nassem Shah impressed everyone with his good pace and swing, picking important wickets for KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav.
The Pakistan team management will be pleased to see the return of their premier fast bowler Shaheen Shah Aridi. They also have Haris Rauf, who is in red-hot form.

Finn Allen from New Zealand is in splendid form. The wicket-keeper opening batsman played a few top-quality innings in the recently concluded tri-series involving Pakistan and Bangladesh.
He made his T20 debut in March 2021, against Bangladesh. Since then, he has been phenomenal. In the tri-series that concluded recently, Finn Alen played 3 good innings.
In the opening match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, he scored 42 runs in just 16 innings, which included 3 sixes and 5 boundaries. Finn Allen is the player to watch out for in the world cup. Finn Allen, in 17 T20 innings, has scored 452 runs at an incredible strike rate of 161.4.
