He got starts in many innings but could not pass the 50-run mark. His contribution can be said as satisfactory.
The captaincy of Rishabh Pant was also decent. He marshaled his troops well, but his inexperience showed in the last game against Mumbai Indians. Rishabh Pant is very young, and he will learn as he matures. The team management will surely retain him ahead of IPL 2023 auction.

David Warner returned to his original best with the performance in IPL 2022. Delhi Capitals managed to grab him for a decent amount of 6.25 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Warner was the most successful batsman for the franchise, scoring 432 runs in 12 innings, including 5 half-centuries. Warner was exemplary at the top for DC, scoring runs with ease. KULDEEP YADAV
The performance of Kuldeep Yadav in the IPL 2022 came as a sigh of relief both for the franchise and the Indian cricket team. His performance in the last 2 seasons was not very good. Another bad IPL season could have meant him getting discarded. But, Kuldeep Yadav rose to the occasion when it was most necessary.

KHALEEL AHMED
Another bowler who returned to form after a torrid 2 IPL seasons was the left-handed bowler Khaleel Ahmed. He was very lethal with the ball, getting wickets in the death overs. Khaleel Ahmed picked 16 wickets in 10 innings he got to play in the IPL 2022. He also generated more pace and bounce from the wickets and troubled the batsmen.
