Delhi Capitals retained a large portion of their squad from the IPL auction and had only five slots to fill. It acquired Phil Salt as a backup wicketkeeper and added Rilee Rossouw and Manish Pandey to the batting line-up. The fast-bowling department in Delhi is already brimming with talent, and Mukesh Kumar and Ishant Sharma both found a spot there.
The side didn’t invest in all-rounders at the auction but relied heavily on Mitchell Marsh and Axar Patel, who make the Capitals one of the most well-rounded franchises in the tournament.
