Delhi Capitals had three seasons of consecutive success, with their best performance coming in the 2020 edition, when they were a finalist alongside the Mumbai Indians, lost to the defending champions, and finished runners-up.
Despite some brilliant performances, Delhi Capitasl (DC) could not make it to the knockout stage last year. DC Predicted Playing XI For IPL 2023
The Capitals are expected to make significant changes to their lineup this season in order to improve their chances of winning the Stanley Cup. DC would not like to make changes to its outstanding opening pair of young and prolific Prithvi Shaw and pocket-dynamite Warner. However, the capitals would introduce a new middle-order set-up with Rossouw, Dhull, and Pandey alongside skipper Pant and all-rounder Marsh.
With the departure of Shardul, the Delhi tail lacks batting efficiency, but they can breathe a sigh of relief with Axar announcing a return to form in the ongoing home series against Sri Lanka.
