Bhuvneshwar Kumar
One of the most seasoned campaigners in the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad, Bhuvneshwar has led the team 7 times losing 5 matches. The medium pacer has taken 154 wickets in his IPL career so far.
The 33-year-old will be playing his 10th season for the franchise. Although he doesn’t have an impressive record as captain in the IPL, the all-rounder can be backed due to his experience of playing in different situations and conditions.
Mayank Agarwal
The Karnataka batsman is another seasoned campaigner with enough experience of playing in the IPL. The right-hander was also the captain of the Punjab Kings. Agarwal has a mixed captaincy record winning 7 out of 14 games he lead the Punjab Kings side.
As a batsman, Agarwal has scored 2327 runs in 112 IPL games with a strike rate of 134.2. It needs to be seen whether he can show the same type of consistency with his captaincy.

Washington Sundar
The India off-spinner is looked upon as the next Ravichandran Ashwin of team India but leading a side is altogether a different challenge. The 23-year-old is inexperienced when it comes to leading a team but the management might give him a chance for some matches just to review his performance as a captain which can enable them to decide for the future.
As a bowler, Sundar has been impressive for the national side and when it comes to IPL, the 23-year-old has taken 51 wickets in 33 IPL games so far. The Tamil Nadu cricketer is also a handy batter lower down the order.
