ODI World Cup 2023: Team Netherlands And Team Sri Lanka Squad And Schedule. The Netherlands and Sri Lanka have officially qualified for the World Cup in India. Sri Lanka qualified for the tournament after beating Zimbabwe by nine wickets. The Netherlands, on the other hand, secured their place in the World Cup by beating Scotland in a historic encounter by chasing down 278 runs within 43 overs.
Sri Lanka won their first World Cup title in 1996. They have also reached the World Cup semi-finals in two consecutive years (2007 and 2011). The Netherlands, on the other hand, will play their first World Cup in India this year.
The ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to take place from October 5th to November 19th. The tournament will be played among 10 different teams across 10 venues in a round-robin format. Sri Lanka and the Netherlands are the newly joined teams that will go to India.
Sri Lanka got the Qualifier 2 position, and the Netherlands got Qualifier 1.
