BCCI Announced Team India Squad For The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. A week after shifting the Women’s T20 World Cup venue from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India’s squad. The tournament will occur in Dubai and Sharjah from October 3 to October 20.
Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the team in the upcoming tournament in the UAE, with Smriti Mandhana serving as vice-captain. India has announced a strong squad, with Shreyanka Patil included, pending her fitness.
Four group matches will played by each team in the tournament, out of which the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals on 17 and 18 October. The last game of the championship will take place in Dubai on October 20, with one reserve day dedicated to the semifinals and the final. A total of 23 matches will be played at these two venues: Dubai and Sharjah.
