Rybakina, renowned for her powerful serves, had a disappointing year following a second-round exit at the 2024 Australian Open. She wants to make up it by winning her second Wimbledon title.
Krejcikova, who claimed her first French Open title in 2021, has shown an impressive return to form. On Wednesday She defeated Jelena Ostapenko 6-4, 7-6 (4). This was the first time she had reached the Wimbledon semi-final.
Rybakina, 25, cruised into the semi-final defeating Elina Svitolina 6-3, 6-2 in the quarterfinal. Regarded for her aggressive shots, the WTA champion says her serves have improved. She expects to reach the final and eventually win the final with her powerful serves.
Elena Ryabkina Has Third-Best Winning Percentage at Wimbledon
The Kazakhstani tennis player is the fourth after Maria Sharapova in the Open Era to win 19 of their first 21 singles matches at Wimbledon. Moreover, Rybakina has the third-best winning percentage at Wimbledon in the Open Era since 1968. She said that her second Wimbledon title is getting closer but she had to face tough components, and is taking it match by match.
Rybakina believes she has an advantage over her opponents in terms of her aggressive style of game. She said she has a huge serve.

Barbora Krejcikova Wants More Time to Serve
In a recent Q&A with fans on social media, Krejcikova shared that she wants more time for serve than 25 seconds when asked if there was one rule she could change in tennis. The Czech tennis player highlighted that she is not a fan of grunting, especially when its inconsistent. Krejcikova, 28, said it can be disturbing when the opponent starts to grunt or grunts louder during key points.
She is set to face Ryabkina in the semi-final.
