WPL 2023: Mumbai Indians (MI) Full Schedule, Captain, Squad, And Probable Playing XI. The inaugural season of Women’s Premier Leagues’ (WPL) 2023 will take place from March 4 to March 26th at two venues in Mumbai. The competition will be interesting as the likes of, Gujarat Giants, UP Warriorz, and Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore compete for the prestigious trophy.
Indiawin Sports Pvt Ltd owned by Mumbai Indians has become the second-most expensive team to be bought with a whooping price of Rs 912.99 crore. This company also owns the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians got Hayley Matthews, Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Nat Sciver- Brunt, Amelia Kerr, and Pooja Vastrakar along with other uncapped Indian players. Former English cricketer, Charlotte Edwards to be the Head Coach of MI. Former Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami takes on the role of Mentor & Bowling Coach, while Devieka Palshikaar comes in as Batting Coach.
Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians (MI) will start its WPL 2023 campaign against Beth Mooney-led Gujarat Giants on March 4 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai from 7.30 PM.
