He was selected for the 5-match t20 series against South Africa and 2-match series against Ireland (Cap no 99. But, he finally got the chance the playing XI in the first t20 against England at Southampton.

Arshdeep impressed everyone with his good bowling performance, where he picked 2 wickets in 3 overs, conceding just 18 runs. Arshdeep Singh, in 37 IPL games, has picked up 40 wickets at an economy rate of 8.35 and an average of 26.4.
