It became one of India’s highest T20I totals against New Zealand. Ishan Kishan starred with a sensational unbeaten century. He scored 103 runs from just 42 deliveries. His innings included powerful strokes and clean hitting across the ground.

Suryakumar Yadav played a rapid knock in the middle overs. He scored 63 runs and maintained relentless scoring pressure. Late cameos from Hardik Pandya and Rinku Singh further boosted the total. India crossed 270 runs, leaving New Zealand a daunting chase.

New Zealand began their reply with intent despite the huge target. Finn Allen attacked early and kept hopes alive. He smashed 80 runs from 38 balls. India’s bowlers responded well after the power play. Axar Patel removed Allen at a crucial moment. Arshdeep Singh then changed the match with accurate yorkers. He finished with an outstanding five-wicket haul.
