PSL 2024 Final MS vs IU: Islamabad United Beat Multan Sultans By 2 Wickets In a Thrilling Match. Multan Sultans led by Mohammad Rizwan face off against Shadab Khan’s Islamabad United in PSL 2024 final at Karachi’s National Stadium on March 18. MS, topping the league stage, showcases their strength in both batting and bowling. Islamabad United, securing their summit spot with consecutive playoff wins in PSL 2024. IU beat MS by 2 wickets in a thrilling match and the 3rd PSL title.
Multan Sultan wins the toss and chooses to bat first. Imad Wasim who became the first bowler to take 5 wickets in PSL 2024 final destroyed the MS batting line-up. Skipper Shadab Khan took 3 wickets and restricted Multan Sultans to 159-9 in 20 overs.
Usman Khan scored 57 runs in 40 balls while Iftikhar Ahmed and Md Rizwan contributed 32 and 26 runs. In a display of aggressive batting, Iftikhar contributes valuable runs with boundaries and sixes, showcasing a remarkable recovery and keeping Multan Sultans in contention with a respectable total in the PSL 2024 final.

IU lost the first wicket as Colin Munro (17) was caught out by Khusdil Shah. Martin Guptill scored a valuable 50 runs in just 32 balls. Azam Khan contributed 30 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed and Khusdil took 2 wickets each. With the help of Imad Wasim and Naseem Sham’s brave batting IU they won the 3rd PSL title. Islamabad United won 1st PSL title in 2018.
