Updated ICC T20I Rankings 2026: Abhishek Sharma Leads Batting, Varun Dropped to Second Place. The International Cricket Council has released the latest ICC Men’s T20I player rankings after the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. Several players gained ranking points following strong performances during the tournament. Indian players made major progress after their title-winning campaign.

India’s explosive opener Abhishek Sharma continues to hold the No. 1 position in the T20I batting rankings. He has 875 rating points, maintaining a small lead over teammate Ishan Kishan. Sharma’s consistent scoring during the tournament helped him keep the top spot. Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has climbed to second place with 871 rating points. Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan is ranked third in the updated list. England opener Phil Salt sits in the fourth position.

Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka is placed fifth in the batting rankings. New Zealand wicketkeeper Tim Seifert jumped four places to reach sixth position. India’s young batter Tilak Varma stands seventh in the list. South Africa’s Dewald Brevis occupies the eighth position. India captain Suryakumar Yadav is currently ranked ninth. England’s white-ball captain Jos Buttler completes the top ten batters list.

Rashid Khan Reclaims Top Bowling Spot

In the bowling rankings, Afghanistan star Rashid Khan has taken the No. 1 position. The leg-spinner has 753 rating points in the latest ICC rankings. India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy moved down to second place with 740 rating points. Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed occupies the third spot in the list.

England leg-spinner Adil Rashid is ranked fourth. South Africa all-rounder Corbin Bosch holds the fifth position. India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah climbed to sixth place. Australia’s Adam Zampa sits seventh in the bowling rankings. West Indies pacer Matthew Forde is ranked eighth. Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman holds ninth position. Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman completes the top ten.
