The 9th edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup started on Oct 3 with the clash between Bangladesh vs Scotland at Sharjah. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Bangladesh but due to political unrest there, it shifted to Dubai.
10 teams were divided into two groups. Arch-rivals India and Pakistan have been put in Group A. Both teams have won one match each out of two. Women in Blue is led by Harmanpreet Kaur.
Each team will play four matches in the group stage. The knockout stage will start on October 17 and the final will take place in Dubai on October 20.
