ODI World Cup 2023: Team Australia Schedule And Squad : This year, India, will host the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The competition will be held in October and November, with the final on November 26. The 2023 Cricket World Cup will be a 50-over event and the tournament’s 13th edition. It will also be India’s fourth time hosting the event.
Since England is the defending champion, all eyes will be on them to see whether they can retain their championship. Their shape has lately deteriorated. They will also play their season opener against the 2019 World Cup finalist.
Australia is the most successful team when it comes to win the Cricket World Cup in the history of World Cricket. They have won the World Cup five times, in 1987, 1999, 2003, and 2007. Australia has had a dismal few years, but it doesn’t mean their finest days in international cricket are over.
Australia made history in 2007 when it became the first team to win three straight World Cup competitions out of the twelve contested to date. Only India and the West Indies have won it twice. India triumphed in 1983 and 2011, while the West Indies triumphed in 1975 and 1979. The most recent World Cup was won by England in 2019. Australia will also play their first World Cup 2023 match against the host country, India at Chennai on October 8.
