With Arsenal set to face Bournemouth in a weekend Premier League clash, Mikel Arteta has shed light on the injuries of his players.
He confirmed that the Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard will be out of action because of a foot injury. The 25-year-old sustained his injury during the Nations League when he was playing for Norway.
As for Bukayo Saka, Arteta said the right-winger’s injury is not serious. He is likely to play against Bournemouth despite being injured during England’s home game against Greece. Arteta said Saka is evolving well. He is hopeful for the 23-year-old to be able to play.

Arsenal Hopeful About Key Players
Arsenal is monitoring its other key players like Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli to play at the Vitality Stadium. But Havertz has been ruled out by the German Football Federation. It said the 25-year-old will miss the upcoming international matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Netherlands because of knee injuries.
However, Arteta is hopeful that the German forward can play Saturday against Bournemouth. The Arsenal manager said that Havertz has a good chance to be fit and available for the team if he trains well.
Martinelli suffered a painful calf injury during Brazil’s match against Peru in the World Cup qualifier. An MRI of his right calf showed a small area of muscle edema. The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed that the 23-year-old was undergoing physiotherapy treatment.
Despite injured players, Arsenal is determined to win the match against Bournemouth.
