They faced the Netherlands as its opening match in Group D of the UEFA EURO 2024, which is underway in Germany. The Polish lost to Netherlands by 1-2. Newly appointed captain for the Poland team Piotr Zielinski says they are ready to go the extra mile to score goals and win. He said they will do whatever they have to do as a team to play well.
