Trent Alexander-Arnold has less than 100 days with Liverpool as his contract is set to expire at the end of the current season. And like the club’s superstar Moh. Salah, Alexander-Arnold has not received any word from Liverpool about the renewal of his contract.
The young right-back harbors high ambitions, to captain Anfield and win trophies. Alexander-Arnold has been with Liverpool since the age of six and swiftly climbed the ranks to the position of vice-captain. He shared that he has always wanted to captain the club, and it’s a goal that he is pursuing wholeheartedly. However, Alexander-Arnold, 25, added that whether that happens or not is out of his hands.
He has been with the Anfield club for 20 years now, signed five contract extensions which haven’t been publicized. Alexander-Arnold is hopeful of staying in Liverpool and is subtly reminding the club and his supporters that his heart is in Anfield.
But he added that he is very ambitious to win trophies, being elite, and driven by winning.

Arne Slot Urges Trent Alexander-Arnold to Concentrate
Liverpool FC’s new manager Arne Slot acknowledged Alexander-Arnold’s commitment to the team. He urged the footballer to improve his concentration ahead of the upcoming match against West Ham.
Slot said Alexander-Arnold’s ability to maintain full concentration is the key to his improvement as a defender. He added that it’s difficult to judge how it has been in the years before but Alexander-Arnold is a player who won the Champions League and the league title so that highlights how good he is as a defender. Slot said the emphasis is on the footballer doing special things with the ball.
The new manager believes the team’s defense has been good. After West Ham, Liverpool has two challenging games against Wolves and Crystal Palace.
