Vinicius Junior put his best foot forward in Brazil’s match against Paraguay and helped the team into the next round with two goals. This was his first career multi-goal game for Brazil. The star footballer scored two first-half goals.
But it was a pressing match. There was pressure and great attack and defence put up by both Brazil and Paraguay. The Selecao Canarinho (Brazil team) has more possession of the ball but failed to finish their chances and Paraguay came up with surprise counterattacks. The Paraguay side pressed Brazil with La Albirroja trying to equalize and a quick corner kick from Julio Enciso failed to make it into the net.
In the 30th minute, Vinicius Junior put Brazil into the lead, and with a second goal just before half-time. Savio scored the third goal for Brazil in the first-half and Lucas Paqueta in the second-half with through a penalty kick. And Omar Alderete scored for Paraguay.

In a post-match interview, Vinicius Junior highlighted that he never plays for himself and always plays for the team. He said when he is playing for Brazil, he plays for his country. The star footballer shared that he tries to do the best things but it’s not always possible.
About the match against Paraguay, Vinicius Junior, 23 said he managed to play a great game. He believes he can still improve a lot to help the Brazilian team and put it in the place it deserves. Vinicius Junior earlier assured fans that Brazil will do much better, after playing Costa Rica, in the next game as they now have an understanding of what the competition will be like.
He is determined to achieve this goal and win the Copa America title.

Brazil Can Improve in Copa America 2024 – Coach
The Brazil side achieved a breakthrough after coach Dorival Junior made some much-needed changes after criticism for not scoring against Costa Rica. Junior told reporters the team can improve and has to improve.
