The first Test of the five-match series between India and England will start on August 4, but before that, the Indian team has suffered 5 setbacks. Team India had to lose the T20 series due to Corona in Sri Lanka, as India’s top 8 players including Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav were isolated before the third and deciding T20 match. Now in England so far four players have been injured during the practice match.
Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar, Avesh Khan, ruled out for the entire test series while Mayank Agarwal ruled out the first Test.

In such a situation, if two or three key players get injured, then it will be difficult for Team India to win even a single match in the series.
By the way, it is a relief for Team India that when BCCI released the list of players for the England series, KL Rahul’s play was doubtful but he is now fit and may possibly find a place in the playing XI of the first Test.
