IPL 2021 In UAE To Be Hosted In Caravan Format
IPL 2021 leg 2, to be held in the UAE, will occur in a caravan style. The initial few matches will be held in one venue, the next few matches in the second venue, and the last few games in the third venue.
In this way, ICC can take over the stadiums early to prepare for the ICC T20 cricket world cup 2021.
For the first time in India too, the BCCI organized IPL 2021 in the caravan format itself, that is, some consecutive matches at one place and then at another place.

Aakash Chopra, cricketer turned commentator, said that if the T20 World cup 2021 matches happen in UAE, a big issue can arise. After wrapping up the remaining 31 games of the IPL in UAE in three venues, 45 games of the T20 world cup will be played on the same three venues from 17 Oct to 14 Nov. So, the pitch quality will deteriorate in two months.
And ICC will be very much concerned about it. As a reason, the caravan format IPL will help ICC to make things ready for the T20 World cup 2021. First match of the VIVO IPL 2021 part 2 will be played in Dubai (Dubai International Cricket Stadium)
