- HEAVILY DEPENDENT ON BATSMEN
Royals Challengers Bangalore, have a star-studded batting line-up. In the auctions, they have focused mostly on their batsmen. This has led to their poor performance. Virat Kohli, AB Devilliers etc are the key players for their side, but they have been over-dependent on these 2 to perform.
It’s said that you cannot win matches if u have only 1-dimensional team. Their bowling unit has lacked quality bowlers. The spin department has been a reason for worry. This season also, they have only Yuzvendra Chahal and Adam Zampa as their quality spinners. This brings in a lot of pressure for both of them to perform.

RELEASING KEY PLAYERS
Royal Challengers Bangalore over the years has released many key players with just 1 or 2 bad seasons. Star players such as Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Robin Uthappa and many more were once part of their squad, but were released either after a bad phase, or a few of them even did not get ample opportunities to play.
Releasing such big players is not a wise decision and it brings fear of uncertainty among the players. This is one of the most important reasons WHY RCB HAVE NOT WON ANY IPL TITLE YET

VIRAT KOHLI HAS FAILED AS a CAPTION FOR RCB
Virat Kohli has failed as a captain for RCB on the tactical front. He is known for chopping and changing the playing XI after every defeat. He is someone who doesn’t back his players after few bad performances. Successful teams like MI and CSK always back their players until they perform.

This is not the case with RCB. A player like Shimron Hetmyer, who is known for aggressive batting was dropped after a few bad games. Then he was eventually released before the next auction. A balanced team is the need of the hour if RCB has to win the IPL trophy.
Players should be given faith and assurance that even if they don’t perform in a couple of matches, they still would be given ample opportunity to comeback.
RCB has a very strong side. They have quality batsmen who can win matches for them single-handedly. They need to focus on their bowling unit. Players should be given ample opportunities. Virat Should also focus on playing a balanced 11 on the field.
