All-rounders play a very important role in the shortest format of the game and the IPL teams will definitely pay special attention to buying good all-rounders in the Auction which is going to be held in Bengaluru on 12 & 13 Feb.

In this article, we thus take a look at 5 All-rounders who can get up to 10 Crore At Mega Auction
Shardul Thakur
Former CSK player Shardul Thakur has always been a clutch player across all the formats. Whenever his team is in a difficult situation, Shardul Thakur steps up and gives them a breakthrough. He might not pick up many wickets in every match but he is definitely effective, especially in the shorter formats. However, recently Shardul Thakur has given us glimpses of his batting skills as well and he has shown how good an all-rounder he actually is.

Just recently, in the ODI series between India vs South Africa, Shardul Thakur scored unbeaten 90 runs in the first two matches combined (50* in the first match and 40* in the second match). In fact, his batting performance was even better than his bowling and that is definitely a great addition to his resume which will attract suitors for him in the Mega Auction.
Shardul Thakur picked up 21 wickets in 16 matches in VIVO IPL 2021 but did not get an opportunity to showcase his batting skills. This time though, we will definitely see more of Shardul Thakur the batsman.
Deepak Chahar
Just like his CSK teammate Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar has also established himself as an all-rounder in the last year. In the third ODI between India and South Africa, Deepak Chahar took 2 wickets and played a sensational knock of 54 off 34 deliveries.
However, Deepak Chahar had started portraying his glare in all-around performance from the last year itself. In the series between India and Sri Lanka, Deepak Chahar scored an unbeaten 69 and showed just how good he was with the bat as well. Just like Shardul Thakur though, he too is yet to prove his batting skills in the IPL.
Deepak Chahar picked up 14 wickets in 15 matches in IPL 2021. His personal best season was the 2019 season in which he picked up 22 wickets in 17 matches. He was a core member of CSK’s IPL winning team.

Dwayne Bravo
We all know how good an all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is. He is an absolute legend in the shortest format of the game and especially in IPL. He has always been one of the key players in the CSK squad and he finally parted ways with the club after spending so many years at CSK.
Despite being 38 years old, he picked up 14 wickets for CSK last season in 11 matches. He is just 3 wickets away from becoming the highest wicket-taker in IPL history. Currently, the record is held by Lasith Malinga (170 wickets). Dwayne Bravo currently has 167 wickets. He is expected to break the record this season.
Although Bravo’s batting performance is not what it used to be back in the days, he still maintained a strike rate of 261 in IPL 2021.

Shakib Al Hasan/Wanindu Hasaranga
As the IPL teams are allowed to have only 4 overseas players in the starting 11, they often tend to keep only one foreign all-rounder in their lineup. Shakib Al Hasan and Wanindu Hasaranga are two all-rounders who can earn big bucks in the Mega Auction.
Shakib Al Hasan played 8 matches in IPL 2021, scoring 47 runs and picking up 4 wickets. He also became the highest wicket-taker in T20I history this year and he is currently second on ICC’s T20 All-rounders ranking.
Wanindu Hasaranga on the other hand was absolutely phenomenal in the T20 World Cup. Despite failing to perform with RCB last season, he is currently seated on no.1 on ICC’s T20 Bowlers ranking.

Mitchell Marsh
Australian All-rounder Mitchell Marsh had a dream run in the 2021-22 season. He scored 342 runs in just 7 matches in BBL 2021-22 including a century. He also picked up 5 wickets in 5 spells.
Marsh also scored 189 runs in 6 innings in the T20 World Cup 2021 including a match-winning 77* runs knock in the final against New Zealand.
Mitchell Marsh was in SRH in IPL 2021 but pulled out of the tournament due to personal reasons. However, he now has a chance to be sold for a big amount in IPL 2022’s mega auction.
