Indian & Overseas Players
Ishan Kisan and Shreyas Iyer can be ideal players for KKR in the middle order. Both are different players from each other. While Kisan is flamboyant and stylish, Iyer is a more traditional player. He can anchor the innings and deliver the finishing kicks in the last overs as well. There were several reports that KKR is looking to buy Iyer and make him a possible captain.
One of the major focuses of KKR in the auction is on the fast bowling group. Due to stringent retention rules, the team had to release all his fast bowlers. Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Shami are all modern fast bowlers who are playing the game. Ferguson was a part of KKR from 2018 to VIVO IPL 2021.
