Vivo IPL 2021 ends on 15th October. The mega auction for IPL 2022 is likely to be held in January-February 2022. Next year two new teams will also play in IPL. So all the franchises have started making strategies for IPL 2022.
Since this time there will be a mega auction which takes place every three years so every team will retain and release their players accordingly. BCCI had set a limit of 5 players to be retained last time, but this time teams will probably be able to retain only 3 or 4 players, all the rest will be released.

Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma started his IPL career with Deccan Chargers in 2008. In the 2011 auction, Mumbai bought Rohit for $2 million at that time. Sharma handed over the captaincy of Mumbai Indians for the first time in 2013 and in the same year, Mumbai became the IPL champion for the first time.
After that, under the captaincy of Rohit, Mumbai Indians became the most successful team of IPL by winning 5 titles. Rohit has scored 5611 runs in 213 matches at a strike rate of 130.39. There is no doubt that the team management will retain him.

Ishan Kishan
Kishan made his IPL debut in 2016 with Mumbai Indians. Although he did not get that recognition in the beginning gradually he became a strong pillar of the team. Ishan impressed everyone with his batting, due to which he has been included in the Team India squad for T20 World Cup 2021.
In 61 IPL matches, Ishan has scored 1452 runs at a strike rate of 136.33, there is a lot of possibility that the team management will retain him.
Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah, who was included in the Mumbai team in 2013, very soon became useful to the team with his superb bowling. Bumrah, who has taken 130 wickets in 106 IPL matches, is also likely to be retained.
Kieron Pollard
All-rounder Pollard, who started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians in 2010, has been a strong pillar of this team. Pollard, who has scored 3268 runs in 178 matches at a strike rate of 149.57 and 65 wickets at an average of 32.03, is also likely to be retained by the team.
