IPL 2023 RCB vs CSK: Kings Beat Challengers by Eight Runs In A High-Scoring Thriller. Mahi-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in a thrilling, high-scoring match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. It was RCB’s third loss in 5 matches whereas Chennai’s third win in the same. Faf Du Plessis, won the toss and chose to bowl first. Chennai Super Kings scored 226 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.
For Chennai, openers Devon Conway scored 83 runs in 45 balls with six fours and sixes. Ajinkya Rahane scored 37 runs in 20 balls with three fours and two sixes. Also, middle-order batsman Shivam Dubey scorred 52 runs in 27 balls with the help of two fours and five sixes.
Chasing a mammoth total of 226, Royal Challengers Bangalore fought till the end but could only manage 218 runs in 20 overs. For Bangalore, captain Faf du Plessis scored 62 runs in 33 balls with the help of five fours and four sixes. Glenn Maxwell played an inning of 76 runs in 36 balls.

With this win, Chennai has moved to the third position in the IPL points table, while Bangalore has reached the seventh position after the loss .
