TATA IPL 2023 Start Date
According to several reports, IPL 2023 will commence right after the conclusion of Women’s IPL 2023. The WPL 2023 final will take place on 26th March and the Australia tour of India’s last ODI will be played on 22nd March. So fans can expect IPL 2023 to start near the 30th or 31st of march. In that case, the tournament might finish in May 2023 at most.
However, BCCI has not made any announcements regarding the same as of yet and we expect a notice from them soon.

The mini-auction for IPL 2023 took place on December 16 at Kochi. The 2023 IPL mini-auction was an event worth remembering. Among the many players that went under the hammer, 80 players were sold. The ten franchises spent a whopping sum of Rs 1,67,00,00,000 in total.
English all-rounder Sam Curran became the highest earner in the history of IPL auctions by bagging an amount of 18.5 Crores from Punjab Kings. Cameron Green and Ben Stokes got big bucks too. Mumbai Indians bought Green for 17.50 Crores while Chennai Super Kings bought Ben Stokes for 16.25 Crores.

IPL 2023: Broadcasting Rights & Live Streaming
Viacom18 won the digital rights of the IPL (2023-27) for 23,758 crores, while Disney Star retained the TV rights for 23,575 crores. Thus, viewers will be able to watch IPL 2023 on the Star Sports network (on TV) and they will also be able to watch the matches live on JioTV app for free (online).
Outside of India IPL 2023 will be broadcast on Viacom 18 and Times Internet.
