CSK Files Complaint to BCCI Over DJ Conduct at Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Chennai Super Kings have filed a formal complaint with the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The complaint relates to events during their IPL 2026 clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The match was played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. CSK have raised concerns over the conduct of the stadium DJ.
The franchise objected to a viral “dosa, idli, sambar” track played repeatedly during the match. CSK officials believe the song promoted stereotypes and was disrespectful. They declared that this particular material did not meet standards for use in professional athletic settings. The management team demonstrated that the music timing they selected for their presentation showed greater adverse effects on their performance.
CSK filed another complaint against the DJ who made statements through the public address system. The DJ announcements according to reports occurred after CSK players got dismissed from the match. The comments were perceived as mocking and undermining the visiting side. A senior official said entertainment should not cross into targeted ridicule.
