Novak Djokovic Set For Wimbledon 2024 After Knee Surgery, Fans Hyped By Speedy Recovery. Wimbledon 2024 is all set to start from June 24 and fans are hyped about Novak Djokovic gearing up for the prestigious tournament and taking part in a practice session at the All-England Club just weeks after knee surgery. The Serbian tennis champion withdrew from the French Open because of a torn medial meniscus during a win against Francisco Cerundolo.

Djokovic also slipped on the clay court several times hurt his knee, and was extremely critical after receiving treatment. He couldn’t play well despite a significant amount of painkillers. Earlier this month, Djokovic underwent knee surgery and kept his fans updated on social media that he is doing well. He assured his fans that he would do his best to be healthy and fit to return to the court as soon as possible.

The record 24 Grand Slam singles title champion highlighted that his love for tennis is strong and his desire to compete at the highest level keeps him going.

Will Novak Djokovic Play Wimbledon 2024?

Now, Djokovic is eager to make a comeback at Wimbledon. However, he has yet to confirm whether he will be fit for the grass-court major. The 7x Wimbledon champion’s social media posts are eager to make a comeback and this can be seen in his social media posts.

Marion Bartolli, who won the 2013 Wimbledon Championships singles title, believes Djokovic will play Wimbledon 2024. She said there is a greater chance that the Serbian sensation will play Wimbledon than the other way around. Bartolli highlighted that if Djokovic plays, he will be one of the two favorites.

Taylor Fritz, who also underwent a knee surgery in 2021, shared that he if he played after undergoing a similar surgery, so can Djokovic. He explained that people are different and it comes down to the level of inflammation. Djokovic, 37, is a 7-time Wimbledon champion.
