PSL 2025 Retention List: Full List Of Retained Players By All 6 Teams. The buzz for the HBL PSL 2025 has become very exciting, as player retention of all 6 teams has been completed by the franchises. The retention applies to all six teams as they prepare for the Players Draft set for January 11. Each team will be allowed to keep up to eight players from their previous squads: Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, and Lahore Qalandars held their total eight-players quota, while Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi had settled for seven each.

Islamabad United

The defending champions and three-time PSL winners, Islamabad United, have retained:

Platinum: Captain Shadab Khan and fast bowler Naseem Shah.
Diamond: Imad Wasim (also serving as a mentor) and Azam Khan.
Gold: Salman Ali Agha (brand ambassador) and Haider Ali.
Silver: Colin Munro and Rumman Raees.

Multan Sultans

The 2021 champions and runners-up in 2024, Multan have retained:

Platinum: Captain Muhammad Rizwan and leg-spinner Usama Mir.
Diamond: David Willey (mentor), Iftikhar Ahmed (brand ambassador), and Usman Khan.
Gold: Chris Jordan. Silver: Faisal Akram.

Peshawar Zalmi

The champions of 2017, Peshawar Zalmi, have retained:

Platinum: Captain Babar Azam and dynamic batter Saim Ayub.
Diamond: Wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris.
Silver: Spin bowlers Arif Yaqoob, Mehran Mumtaz, and Sufyan Moqim (brand ambassador).
Emerging: Fast bowler Ali Raza.

Quetta Gladiators

The 2019 champions, Quetta Gladiators, have retained:

Diamond: Rilee Rossouw, mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed, and pacer Mohammad Amir (mentor).
Gold: Saud Shakeel (brand ambassador), Akeal Hosein, and Mohammad Wasim Jnr.
Silver: Khawaja Mohammad Nafay and Usman Tariq.

Karachi Kings

2020 champions Karachi Kings retained players list:

Diamond: Hasan Ali Keeps James Vince
Gold: Captain Shan Masood and Emerging Muhammad Irfan Khan
Silver: Spinner Arafat Minhas (brand ambassador), Zahid Mehmood, and Tim Seifert.

Lahore Qalandars

The two-time champions, Lahore Qalandars, have retained:

Platinum: Shaheen Shah Afridi and Fakhar Zaman.
Diamond: Haris Rauf (brand ambassador) and Sikandar Raza.
Gold: Abdullah Shafique, Jahandad Khan, and Zaman Khan.
Silver: David Wiese.
