Asia Cup 2023: Who Will Face India In Final If Today’s Match Between PAK vs. SL Washed Out? Know The Equations. In the next match, Rohit Sharma-led India beat Sri Lanka by 41 runs and became the first team to qualify for the Asia Cup 2023 final. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli both scored commanding hundreds, laying the groundwork for India’s bowlers to demolish Pakistan.
Kuldeep Yadav’s five-wicket haul clinched the victory, as the pacers set the tone with quick wickets. In terms of runs, this was India’s greatest ODI victory over Pakistan. The victory over Pakistan and Sri Lanka has significantly increased their run rate the final.
Rain, on the other hand, remains a serious concern for the remainder of the tournament. According to Accuweather, the odds of precipitation in the PAK vs. SL match are around 50 to 70 percent, and the game will be delayed throughout the day.
Notably, India vs. Pakistan continued on reserve day, and that game was also interrupted numerous times by rain. It should be noted that, unlike the India-Pakistan match, there will be no reserve day for the other matches in the Super 4 round.

If all of the remaining matches are cancelled, India and Sri Lanka will compete for the championship match. According to the current standings, India won 2 matches and Sri Lanka won their first Super Fours match and are currently ranked first and second in the points chart, respectively. Sri Lanka has one match remaining against Pakistan. Bangladesh is already out of the finals race. India’s match against Bangladesh on September 15 will make no impact in the tournament.

Pakistan, on the other side, has played two super 4s game. They won their first match against Bangladesh, but the Green Army suffered a crushing defeat against India on September 11th. Bangladesh has been eliminated from the finals after losing both games. While India remains number one. If today’s match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka washes out than both teams will share 1 point each. In that case, Pakistan will be out of the tournament and Sri Lanka will face India in the finals. If Pakistan beats Sri Lanka then they will reach into Asia Cup 2023 finals with 4 points.
