Curran appeared in all 14 matches, taking 10 wickets in total. Apart from that, he was a run-leaking machine in the IPL, conceiving runs with an average of 480.5 and an economy rate of 10.22.
Sam Curran began his IPL career with CSK in 2018 under the leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. His performance in the previous year will result in a significant salary drop in IPL 2024 auction.
Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran, a West Indian wicketkeeper batsman, was purchased by the Lucknow Super Giants for Rs. 15 crore. Ben Stokes became the auction’s third-most expensive signing as the Chennai Super Kings paid Rs 16.25 crore for his services. Stokes is an England World Cup hero and one of the finest all-rounders in the world. His cricketing abilities earned him a large sum of money, but he failed miserably. In addition, he was injured and benched for the entire season. He only played two matches, scoring 15 runs and failing to get a wicket.
