IPL 2024 Auction: 5 Players Who Can Earn About 10 Cr In The Auction. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the world’s most popular cricket leagues, and supporters are looking forward to the start of the 2024 season after the conclusion of the 16th season. The IPL 2023 auction took place on December 16, 2022, in Bangalore, a little over three months before the start of the league. As a result, the IPL 2024 auction may take place around the end of 2023.
Each IPL franchise is granted a budget of Rs 95 crore to assemble the best possible squad from across the world, comprising capped and uncapped Indian and overseas players. Teams are not allowed to spend the entire Rs 95 crore, but at least 75% must be allocated to players. The top five players may account for 30–40% of a team’s budget.
The number of players listed at an IPL auction is not restricted and changes from year to year. The number of players stated is decided by who registers and is accepted by their respective countries or boards. These players may represent another country’s capped, uncapped, or associate cricket nation. It makes no difference where players fall or whose category they belong to.
Every IPL, some players break the 10 crore barrier and fly high with massive salary sums. Last year English All-rounder Sam Curran was bought by Punjab Kings with record breaking 18.50 cr. There are usually some surprises not only for fans but also for cricketers. Here are some players that might see significant raises in the IPL in 2024.
