IPL 2024: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Can Release 5 Players Before Auction. IPL 2022 runner-up Rajasthan Royals (RR), could not qualify for IPL 2023 playoffs as the Mumbai Indians (MI) thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium. Sanju Samson- led RR finished 5th in the recently concluded IPL 2023 points table.
Rajasthan Royals will need to develop some consistency in their playing style and enhance their performance under pressure if they want to compete successfully in the IPL 2024. The six teams who didn’t advance to the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs, including the Rajasthan Royals (RR), would be the most disappointed in themselves for not going farther.
Now team RR will concentrate on the IPL 2024 Auction after being narrowly missed to qualify for playoffs. After an average 2023 season, we look at 5 players of Rajasthan Royals who might release before IPL 2024 auction, because of theirs poor performance.
Riyan Parag
The RR franchise has supported Parag for the past five years, but he fell flat once more in the 2023 campaign. Parag scored 78 runs in seven innings, with an average and strike rate of 13.00 and 118.18 respectively. He has played 54 IPL matches to date and scored 600 runs. RR team management might release him because he found it difficult to finish the matches for RR.

KC Cariappa
Since 2015, Cariappa has participated in the IPL circuit, but his bowling performances have not been able to make the competition stand out. Carriapa may not be able to advance in the game as well, and Rajasthan’s spin assault is in excellent hands. The think tank might let the spinner go because he has a lot to offer any other team lacking in spin reserves in the upcoming seasons.
Navadeep Saini
Navdeep Saini was bought by RR in IPL 2022 auction for 2.60 cr. With an economy rate of 12.33, Saini took three wickets in two games for the Rajasthan Royals this season. Perhaps Navadeep Saini will be freed.
Jason Holder
Jason Holder also ended up being a failure for the season. Only four wickets were taken by the Caribbean pacer, who also had an economy rate of 9.96 and a subpar bowling average of 71. He only managed 12 runs in three innings with the bat. The most runs conceded in an IPL inning in 2023: 55 Jason Holder
Joe Root
RR bought Jot Root for base price 1.cr in IPL 2023 auction. But english batter failed to impress with their poor batting. He scored only 10 runs in 3 IPL innings.
