1.Sachin Tendulkar
“Master Blaster” has won various awards but the legend isn’t far behind when it comes to winning the most Man of the Series awards in ODIs. One of his most memorable Man of the Series award in ODIs was in Sharjah in the 1998 tri-series. Tendulkar won 15 Man Of The Series awards in his ODI career including the 2003 World Cup man of the tournament award.
2.Virat Kohli
One of the modern-day greats, Kohli has been a focal point in India’s batting order for more than a decade. He has won 10 Man of the Series awards in his ODI career so far. In Sri Lanka during the 2012 bilateral series against the home side, Kohli won India the series single-handedly 4-1 where Kohli played a big part.

3.Yuvraj Singh
The charismatic left-hander played some stellar knocks during the 2000s as he was the best no 4 batsman during that period. No one can forget his performance during the 2011 ICC world cup when he won the tournament single-handedly for his team. Yuvraj won 7 MOS awards in his ODI career.
4.Sourav Ganguly
One of the most successful skippers in India’s cricketing history, Ganguly’s most memorable series would be the Sahara Cup in Toronto, Canada where he won four back-to-back man-of-the-match awards against Pakistan in the five-match series & eventually the man of the series. Apart from this, he won 7 MoS awards in his ODI career.
5.MS Dhoni
The former wicket-keeper batsman & skipper is considered the best Indian skipper of all time. Dhoni has won various awards in ODI cricket including Man of the Series awards for his destructive batting but he became the oldest player to win this award at the age of 37 in January 2019 against Australia in a bilateral series which showcased his consistency even at this age. “Mahi” won 7 MoS awards in his entire ODI career.
6.Rohit Sharma
The ‘Hitman’ as he is fondly called is known for his elegant batting. The 36-year-old has so far won 5 Man of the Series awards in his ODI career. One of his most dominating performances came against West Indies in December 2019 when he scored 258 runs in the three-match ODI series including 159 in the second ODI. He is the only player to score 3 double hundreds in ODIs.

7.Ravi Shastri
The former India all-rounder and charismatic commentator, Ravi Shastri would be remembered for his performance in the 1985 Benson & Hedges World Championship in Australia where he scored 182 in five games including three half-centuries taking 8 wickets with his left arm off spin. He was also awarded the Audi car. Shastri won 4 MoS awards in the 150 ODIs he played for India.
8.Navjot Singh Sidhu
The former India opener was one of the best performers in ODIs for team India. The former commentator & right-hander had a decent career in the limited-overs format where he won 4 MoS awards in 136 ODIs.
9.Shubhman Gill
One of the finest upcoming openers of modern-day cricket, Shubhman Gill has highlighted his caliber at the highest level at such a young age. The 23-year-old India opener has already won 3 MoS awards in 27 ODIs already. In January 2023, he scored 360 runs in a three-match ODI series against New Zealand where he was announced Man of the Series.
10.Sunil Gavaskar
The “Little Master” was one of the finest openers during the 1970s & 80s. The former right-hander and current commentator played in an era when very few ODI series were played. The former right-hander was the first Indian batsman to score ten thousand plus runs in tests. Gavaskar is one of the most respected figures globally. He won 3 MoS awards in his ODI career.
