Barcelona overcame a tough match against Getafe through a chance created by Robert Lewandowski and netted by Jules Kounde. This took the Catalan giant to a new level with 21 points from their first seven La Liga matches.
Barca wasted numerous scoring opportunities and lost on the chance to win by a wider margin against Getafe. Kounde said it was a hard-fought game and Barcelona deserved the win. He told the media Barca played a good game, was in control, had chances to score more but failed to take the opportunity. The center-back said this happens because one can’t always win every game with a big scoreline.
Kounde, 25, believes the important thing is that the boys created chances and took three points from a tough opponent. He said Getafe was tougher than usual, but it would have scored more goals if Barca had taken more chances. The footballer also commended the team coach Hansi Flick, saying he is a ‘world-class coach’.
