Top Spanish football club Real Madrid is eyeing Nottingham Forest’s Murillo who has been at the top of his form giving stellar performance. Murillo had moved to a West Bridgford-based club in 2023 in a £11 million deal.
The Brazilian footballer has established himself as a star defender with consistent performance in the Premier League that European clubs want to sign. As such, several clubs such as Real and Barcelona have been following him closely. However, it wouldn’t be easy for Real Madrid as it faces the challenge of rival teams offering more money, such as in the case of Leny Yoro, whom the Spanish side lost to Man Utd.

Murillo, 22, has steadily climbed the ranks in his football career, which he started from the age of 10. He has been a striker, midfielder, and now a defender. The young footballer shared that he signed the contract with Nottingham Forest in 2023 because he was fully prepared to play in the Premier League.
He believes Premier League is the ultimate level so he always makes sure that he is in form and playing his best. A report highlighted that European clubs like Manchester City and West Ham are showing interest in Murillo.
With Nottingham Forest since the debut match in October 2023, the Brazilian footballer has featured in 41 Premier League games.
