The possibility of MS Dhoni’s IPL retirement was hinted at by Virat Kohli during JioCinema’s Inside Out show, ahead of the much-anticipated match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. Adding to the excitement, Virat Kohli hinted that this could be the last time we see MS Dhoni in action, given the former CSK captain’s uncertain future in the IPL.

Chennai Super Kings will face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a match of immense significance on Saturday, May 18th, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. This match is the deciding factor for the fourth team to qualify for the IPL Playoffs. Super Kings need to win to confirm their playoff berth, while Challengers need to win a decent run rate to achieve the same goal.

Reflecting on their partnership, Kohli shared, “For fans to see him (Dhoni) play in any stadium in India is big – me & him playing again, maybe for the last time, you never know – that is a special thing, we had a great partnership for India, it’s a great occasion for fans to see us together”.
