Turkey’s Yusuf Dikec Makes Mark With His Style And Swagger, Wins Silver In Pistol Shooting: Paris Olympics 2024

Yusuf Dikec has gone viral for his swagger at the Paris Olympics.

Yusuf Dikec has become an internet sensation with one hand in his pocket, finger of the other hand pushing the trigger as he makes his mark in the 10-m Air Pistol Shooting at the Paris Olympics for team Turkey. He won a silver medal with his casual attitude, casual earplugs, and standard pair of glasses.

Netizens cannot help sharing pictures of the 51-year-old, showing off his coolness, and swagger in a world sporting event. Some even came up with memes of Dikec puffing on a cigarette as he aimed his pistol.  The Turkish shooter claimed a silver medal in a mixed team 10-meter air pistol shooting event on Tuesday.

Dikec has been competing at the Olympics since 2008 but he helped Turkey win its first-ever Olympic medal in shooting at Paris. A social media user commented that it seems as if Dikec was begged to be at the event, and he must have conditioned that he’s only doing it for silver because it’s his favorite color. Another said Dikec came, saw, and conquered.
